SPRINGDALE – James Robinson had one more for the road, police said.
After all they don’t serve hard liquor in jail.

When police caught the 32-year-old Florence man early Monday driving with an open bottle of Smirnoff Vodka, Robinson finished off the final sips as he was being arrested, police said.

That last drink resulted in an additional charge of tampering with evidence. Robinson is facing charges of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated and having an open container of alcohol.

Springdale police were called to Ventura Court after getting a call that Robinson was trying to break into his former wife’s home. Robinson had fled in a white Toyota by the time officers arrived, setting in motion a search, police said.

Officers pulled Robinson over down the road, quickly noticing “a strong odor of alcohol on his person and bloodshot, glassy eyes,” according to the arrest report.
Robinson failed a field sobriety test, police said.

That’s when he guzzled down the remaining vodka, police said.

Why I am voting for Barack Obama.

I am voting for him because I feel for the last eight years that my voice has not been heard. For the last five years we have been fighting a war that is not winnable in a country that they do not want us in there. Our country is out of control as far as our economy, taxes, health care etc… I could go on and on. We need a new leader, someone that has a new vision, a new way of looking at things. Have you ever lost something and had to ask someone to look for you and they find it? It’s like having a second pair of eyes. That is what I think Obama will add to our country, a second pair of eyes.

I trust him like no other; I didn’t even trust Hillary like that. A lot of people keep claiming that he associates with terrorists and is a Muslim and they could never vote for someone like that. In my eyes what does it matter if he was a Muslim? We as a country should know better that not all Muslims are bad, even the ones who live in Afghanistan. Him being a Muslim, I mean come on he is a Christian and his word should be good enough. As far as consulting with terrorists, I really don’t believe that he truly consorted with terrorists that seems pretty far fetched.

There is so much stereotyping these days that it’s like everyone has become so close minded about everything. I understand that if everyone thought the same way we would be one boring nation. What I don’t understand is why it is so hard for people to understand and change as a nation? I don’t believe in god but if I did aren’t we supposed to be ONE nation under god? They way the campaigns are being run and I am talking about both sides, is deplorable. We need a change in the direction that our country is going and we someone who is used to the working class citizen, the middle class and the poor. Someone who can relate to “me” to us.

Courage is resistance to fear, mastery of fear - not absence of fear. – Mark Twain

Blogger Down

The blogger was down all day yesterday so could not update it. WI day was Tuesday and I am down another 2.2lbs. Which brings my total to 3.8lbs so far. Not bad for about a 1lb a week. Today is husband and I's nine year anniversary so we ordered out and I was a little bad. Hopefully I can make up for it with enough exercise.

Went walking tonight up a huge ass hill for the third night in a row. Went with a friend, ever have one of those friends that gives you TMI? Yeah that friend. Nothing like hearing too much while you are trying to hoof it up a hill....
