Who, What, When to watch?
.VS
.Ok, its that time of year again. The fall shows have started and its going to be a tough race. NBC and ABC are both in a tight race. Albeit NBC has been out of the running pretty much since Friends left the air and with the ending of Will and Grace last year it had nothing. Last year it kicked off Monday nights with well nothing, except Medium which has done marginally well but of course has now been moved to Sunday nights, we will see how long it survives now. It had nothing on in an earlier slot due to moving Las Vegas moving to Friday nights where it will be laid to rest in peace soon I think. Due to this stupid show Deal or No Deal(WTF, who watches this crappy ass show?!) I have been partaking in Wife Swap on ABC, yes I know its horrible but its better drama than staring at 30 something suitcases and a bald germ phobic Howie Mandel for an hour.
NBC has started their line up now with Heros, which I DVR'd and cannot wait to watch and Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip. I LOVE this one, I never was a West Wing fan but I can see I am going to need to rent the season's. Studio's writing and subtle comedy drama feeling leaves you drooling for me, not because Matthew Perry is still hot but because this show rocks!
Neither stations even CBS has nothing on Tuesday nights except Boston Legal, Whats my name?, Denny Crane! So I DVR that and watch Nip/Tuck. Wednesday NBC has started The Biggest Loser, which I truely think is the only reality show worth watching anymore. I love that these people work hard to change their lives their habits and do it the right way and not by having surgery or going on "fad" diets. More people should watch, its amazing how inspired one can be sitting there eating your Hershey's Kisses :) But seriously I like this show too.
Thursdays are the bomb with My Name is Earl, The Office, Grey's Anatomy, ER and the new one on the block is Six Degrees. This show had a slow start but now I am really getting into it. This last week the characters have all been brought together some realize it others are still oblivious. I think it could very possibly last. To top off the week on Fridays is Numb3rs, love this show! It really brings a new and different perspective to crime solving involving my least favorite subject, math. Albeit someof the plotlines are a little far fetched and to think the FBI would be involved in some of the little storylines is slightly off but none the less I think it has a solid stand up cast with Rob Morrow(Nothern Exposure), David Krumholtz, Judd Hirsch and Peter McNichol.
So there is my tv line up, take it or leave it and if I thought I was addicted to tv before its pretty bad now, but I'll keep it.
