Now I feel old.

Late Friday night early Saturday morning an infommercial came on tv. You ask why this is so unusual? Well its because instead of it being one of those TimeLife things remembering the 60 and 70's music they have now moved onto the 80's. The official era I grew up in. Universal Music Presents 80's Gold.....hosted by none other than Rick Springfield and some unknown girl who is touting all about the sings she remembers when in real life I bet she is no more than 22.

Yes this is sad and now I officially feel old. I have always considered myself to be like John Cusack's character in High Fidelity with his love and loathe of music. I like him can hear a song and know exactly when, where and what I was doing. Mostly good times come to mind. 80's Gold captures 138 of the best songs from the 80's. Well they might be the most well known, but not always the best. I realize that most people probably think that Pat Benetar's "Hit me with your best shot" was a fabulous song, personally I like "Love is a Battlefield" much better, but then again my music taste can be way out there sometimes. They couldn't consider putting, more Talking Heads, Crowded House or even Peter Murphy. They were more underground 80's I guess.

I cannot wait in another 10 years it will be the 90's Gold, yikes! Thats just crazy to even think about.
